Thanks to Brooke we now have HQs of the two The Secret Life of Bees stills. I have replaced the pictures for the better qualities in the gallery, so check them out 
And on the Sue Monk Kidd site (author of The Secret Life of Bees book) there’s a video from Sue’s first visit to the movie set. Dakota isn’t on the video but it’s cool to watch.
No longer in The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle

It looks like Dakota is no longer in the cast of The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle. Saoirse Ronan has been cast to play the title character, Charlotte and Dakota’s name isn’t listed in the cast anymore. For more about the movie, check Empire’s site. Thanks Katya for the news.

Great news! The Secret Life of Bees will make it’s world premiere at the Toronto Film Festival, which runs September 4 through 13. Ticket packages for TIFF08 are now available for purchase at TIFF08’s site. Along with this wonderful news, I found two pictures from the movie! One that we had already seen in People and the other is a brand new one of Dakota and Queen Latifah. Enjoy!

According to MovieWeb Dakota will attend the San Diego Comic-Con 2008, on July 24 (tuesday) with the cast of Push. Summit Pictures-Summit Entertainment presents a sneak peek of exclusive footage of some of its upcoming major film releases, incluing Push. Dakota, Chris Evans, Djimon Hounsou, Camilla Belle and director Paul McGuigan present a first look at exclusive footage and answer questions about the film. There’s a special sneak peak article about The Secret Life of Bees in the new People magazine that comes out this Friday (6/27). It contains new pictures from the set of the film including one of Dakota with the other Boatwright sisters. I don’t know what else is on the article, but thanks to Beesknees we have a scan of the picture added in the gallery.
