In a new interview about “The Beguiled”, a film that also stars Dakota’s sister Elle Fanning, actress Kirsten Dunst briefly talked to Metro about her directorial debut with The Bell Jar, in which she is set to direct Dakota. There isn’t much information in the quote, but she did mention the script is currently being rewritten.

‘It was my favourite book growing up,’ says Dunst, who will direct her friend Dakota Fanning in the lead. The script is in a re-write phrase. ‘I’m very patient in the projects I pick,’ she says. ‘I don’t feel I have the world at my fingertips whatsoever.’

Hey guys! Dakota’s latest short film, Zygote, is out now! It was produced by Oats Studios and directed by Neill Blomkamp, and it opens with two people trapped in a mining facility somewhere in the Arctic Circle. They’re fleeing a horrific creature made of body parts from other members of the station (x).
